25.11.2008 Plymouth Council Fined After Crush Death at Depot Plymouth Crown Court has fined the local council £75,000 following its guilty plea to failing to provide a safe workplace in respect of a fatal crush accident at its Prince Rock Depot in Cattedown in February last year. A 22-year old agency worker on a temporary contract was unloading wheelie bins when he became crushed between a forklift truck and a lorry at the depot in the town. |
