What do we think it might look like?
Over the last week or two, as HR Consultants, we have been asked on several occasions by some of out client’s if they can implement a clause whereby if a prospective or present employee decline to have a vaccine whilst working for them, they either do not secure the role of they lose their job.
What you should be aware of?
At the present time there is no statutory provision which legally requires staff to become vaccinated against COVID-19/ Coronavirus. There is also no legal requirement for staff to get tested, therefore at the present time, you cannot force staff to have a vaccine or get tested.
